Targin awarded for its transparent procurement
Targin won second place nationwide for its "High Level of Transparency" in the "Private Commercial Customers" section in the 2016 National Procurement Transparency Rating. This result confirms the Company's policy aimed at highly efficient procurement and signals that it is working in the right direction. Targin, a major Russian oilfield services holding company, was awarded above all for its high level of professionalism in the procurement and logistics services it provides.
The National Procurement Transparency Rating is an independent, non-profit initiative specialising in economic and legal analysis of the Russian public and corporate procurement market since 2006. The main factor influencing the assessment of the procurement process of participants when compiling the rating is the observance of transparency and cost-effectiveness standards in the procurement process. The rating is carried out with the support of FAS Russia, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, and specialised committees of the State Duma of the Russian Federation on an annual basis in order to continuously monitor the status and trends in the national procurement market.
